Old Republic Aerospace is expanding and seeking experienced aviation claims professionals to join our team. We're open to candidates ranging from Claims Specialists to Senior Claims/Technical Specialists, offering the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact aviation claims in a specialized and respected industry.
Location
Remote (California preferred; open to candidates throughout the Western U.S.)
Travel
Periodic travel required for claim investigations, client meetings, industry events, and business needs.
What You'll Do
- Manage aviation hull and liability claims from investigation through resolution
- Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and litigation exposure
- Partner with insureds, brokers, attorneys, adjusters, and industry experts
- Direct and oversee litigation strategy and retained counsel
- Conduct claim investigations, accident reviews, and damage assessments as needed
- Negotiate settlements, manage reserves, and provide strategic recommendations
- Support regulatory compliance and claims best practices
- Build strong relationships with clients and business partners while delivering exceptional service
What We're Looking For
- Experienced claims professionals with approximately 5+ years of claims experience, with flexibility based on aviation and litigation expertise
- Strong background in liability claims, coverage analysis, and litigation management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to independently manage complex claims and make sound business decisions
- Aviation insurance, risk management, or aviation industry experience preferred
- FAA pilot certification is a plus, but not required
- Self-motivated professionals who thrive in a remote environment and enjoy collaborating with teams across the region
